Forklift Operators (Zagre, Croatia)

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Material Handling: Loading, unloading, and staging incoming/outgoing shipments from trucks.
• Internal Transport: Moving raw materials to production areas and finished goods to storage.
• Inventory Control: Scanning, locating, and keeping accurate records of inventory using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Safety & Maintenance: Performing daily, pre-shift forklift inspections, inspecting loads, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Operating Equipment: Using forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, or cherry pickers.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Certification: Valid forklift license/certification (OSHA compliant).
• Experience: Proven experience in operating industrial equipment.
• Physical Strength: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, and move comfortably throughout the day.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and basic math skills for inventory control.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is often required.

• Technical: Operation of RF scanners, hand tools, and industrial vehicles.
• Operational: Good understanding of warehousing, inventory management, and load safety.
• Soft Skills: Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
