Creative AI Video Editor for YouTube Channel

Overview

We’re looking for a high-performing YouTube Video Editor & AI Content Creator who understands how to produce visually compelling content that performs.

This role suits someone who combines creative storytelling with technical mastery — able to leverage the latest AI editing and automation tools to create high-impact short and long-form YouTube videos.

You’ll collaborate with our in-house team to execute a YouTube content strategy, implement growth-oriented editing techniques, and consistently deliver engaging, data-driven video output that drives reach and retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Video Editing & Production: Edit, assemble, and enhance YouTube videos (5–10 minutes). Combine voiceovers, background music, B-roll, and motion graphics using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or Filmora.
• AI Integration: Utilize AI-powered tools (e.g. Vyond, Pictory, Synthesia, Descript, Runway ML) to automate and streamline production — including text-to-video generation, AI voiceovers, and content repurposing.
• YouTube Optimization: Edit with algorithms in mind — pacing, hook structuring, watch-time optimization, and retention-focused transitions. Understanding of SEO-driven metadata (titles, tags, thumbnails) is a plus.
• Image & Asset Creation: Use AI image generation tools (Midjourney, DALL·E) to design visuals, illustrations, and thumbnails that elevate click-through rates and visual consistency.
• Collaboration & Storyboarding: Work closely with the creative lead to translate ideas and scripts into visual storyboards and finalized video output.
• Audio & Voiceover: Integrate recorded or AI-generated voiceovers, ensure clean audio quality, and match tone with content direction.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all videos meet platform technical standards (HD/4K, ratio, compression). Maintain consistent color grading, sound balance, and visual polish.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay current with YouTube algorithm shifts, editing trends, AI video tools, and global content styles to refine approach and maintain competitive edge.
• Thumbnail & Promo Design: Create compelling thumbnails and short clips optimized for viewer retention and cross-platform reach (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in YouTube or social-media video editing.
• Proficiency in one or more professional editing tools: Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Filmora.
• Strong understanding of YouTube growth dynamics — pacing, audience retention, and click-through behavior.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI-assisted content tools such as:
• Text-to-video: Vyond, Pictory, Runway, Synthesia
• AI voiceovers: ElevenLabs, Virbo, Descript
• Image generation: Midjourney, Leonardo.Ai, DALL·E
• Ability to create and adapt animated or semi-animated visual sequences.
• Graphic-design literacy (Canva, Photoshop, After Effects a bonus).
• Strong sense of storytelling, rhythm, and audience psychology.
• Fluent in English; Urdu proficiency is an advantage for bilingual editing.
• A proactive learner with the ability to quickly adopt new AI tools and workflows.
