We're a high-energy DJ and KJ (karaoke jockey) hosting company bringing the party to weddings, corporate events, private parties, and nightlife spots across Southwest Florida. From epic dance floors to sing-along crowds, we create unforgettable experiences. Now we're leveling up our online presence and need a creative intern to help capture the vibe, build our brand, and grow our audience on social media and our website.
Join our team as a Creative Content Intern and get real-world experience in audio/video production, social media marketing, and live event content creation. You'll assist in producing exciting content that showcases our DJ/KJ performances, client events, behind-the-scenes fun, and promotional campaigns. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone passionate about music, events, video editing, and social trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and edit short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Stories, YouTube Shorts) from live events, using phone/camera footage, music overlays, effects, and captions.
- Shoot photos/videos at select live events (evenings/weekends – transportation not provided, but events are local to Fort Myers/Cape Coral area).
- Develop engaging social media posts, captions, and graphics for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and potentially YouTube.
- Assist with website content updates (blog posts, event recaps, photo galleries).
- Brainstorm creative ideas for campaigns, challenges, or collaborations to boost engagement and attract new clients.
- Monitor analytics to track what content performs best (likes, shares, views, inquiries).
- Help organize and archive media files for easy reuse.
What We're Looking For
- Current student or recent grad in digital media, communications, marketing, film/video production, graphic design, or related field (FGCU, FSW, or local preferred).
- Strong interest/passion for audio/video production, social media trends, music, and live events (bonus if you're into DJ culture, karaoke, or entertainment).
- Basic skills in video editing (e.g., CapCut, iMovie, Premiere Rush, DaVinci Resolve) and photo editing (e.g., Lightroom, Canva, Photoshop). (Not required).
- Creative eye for visuals, storytelling, and trendy content.
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and comfortable attending live events (some nights/weekends).
- Must be local to the Fort Myers area (no relocation).
- Self-starter who can work independently but thrives in a fun, collaborative team.
- Own a smartphone with good camera capabilities (professional gear provided for events as needed).
Job Types: Part-time, Internship
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
