Job Description Summary:
The Research and Development team designs products and programs that engage children and youth around the world with God’s Word. Within the R&D team, the Program Development Creative Content Project Manager coordinates and leads a global team of subject matter experts and creatives to develop print and digital products and programs that bring God’s Word to Every Child. This role works alongside a globally minded, cross-disciplinary team to ensure all products and programs are both culturally relevant and biblically accurate.
The Program Development Creative Content Project Manager is also responsible for managing project budgets, contracts, and timelines, while maintaining regular communication with project teams and key stakeholders throughout the development process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to the following:

Excels at working both independently and collaboratively to coordinate the development of new products and programs (books, curriculum, digital programs, etc.).

Facilitates the design process for new ministry programs and products. Responsibilities include:

Leading workgroups and meetings.

Leading design sessions using design thinking methodologies.

Providing direction to and overseeing contractors, including copywriters, designers, illustrators, typesetters, editors, theologians, and others as the project requires.

Reviewing and editing content throughout the development process.

Guiding product design to effectively engage the target audience.

Managing project timelines, contract agreements, and budgets.

Assists with planning meetings, processing invoices, maintaining product updates in an internal database, and completing reports as needed.

Ministers to OneHope's donor partners.

Travels domestically and internationally to meet with partners and field team members, lead design sessions, and facilitate focus groups as needed.
Required Qualifications:

Strong interest in relevant content creation and design for children and youth

Superior English verbal and written communication skills

Strong writing and editing skills

Ability to communicate and collaborate well within diverse cultural demographics

Ability to work collaboratively and independently

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously and effectively

Capable of creating processes for efficiency in workflow

Proficient in Microsoft Office, DropBox, and Google Drive; experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Basecamp preferred

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree required.

Bachelor's degree or professional background in design, writing, communications, children's or youth ministry, education, or theology preferred.

Experience in missions, outreach, mentoring, coaching, and/or teaching children and youth preferred.

Project management experience preferred.
