Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, qualified kitchen & bath design individual to work on high-end remodeling projects. This person will be exposed to and get to work on kitchen, bathroom remodeling, home additions, and ADA/ Special Needs projects. Seeking an individual experienced in design and sales of kitchen and bath work. Remodeling and general residential remodeling knowledge are required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for kitchen and bathroom renovations
• Design kitchens, bathrooms, laundry, additions, and whole-home redesign using ProKitchen software.
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, lighting solutions, and color schemes based on color theory and lighting design principles.
• Knowledge in tile design and layout, with the ability to show accurate designs to customers and trades.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure design integrity during renovation or remodeling phases. Ability to take design work and gather quotes for trades, i.e., countertops, flooring, tile.
• Manage proposed budgets and contracts to ensure accuracy.
• Present design ideas confidently to clients, incorporating feedback to refine final plans.

Requirements

Qualified candidates must have previous kitchen/bath design experience and be able to thrive in a team environment. Sales skills, marketing, and project management are highly desirable. We are looking for a highly organized, passionate, creative, problem-solving, success-driven professional.

• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience creating designs with 20/20 or ProKitchen software.
• Portfolio demonstrating design skills and ability to use 20/20 or ProKitchen software
• NKBA certification, a plus.
• Proven experience in interior design with a focus on kitchens and bathrooms; portfolio showcasing relevant work is essential
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for client presentations and team collaboration. Be comfortable using cloud systems and mobile devices.
• Ability to communicate professionally with team members and customers in a courteous, tactful, and concise manner.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, experience using Outlook email, and Excel
• Influence and be involved in marketing the company to past and new customers on social media platforms weekly.

This position is a part-time to full-time role, and salary is based on experience. This role also includes commission potential based on sold jobs.
