The Creative Manager plays a key role in bringing the Charleston Metro Chamber’s mission to life through thoughtful, high-quality visual storytelling. This position is responsible for shaping and producing creative assets that support programs, events and campaigns across the organization. The Creative Manager also captures and produces video and photography that highlights the Chamber’s efforts.
The ideal candidate is a creative professional who values mission-driven work, enjoys variety and takes pride in translating strategy into clear and compelling visuals. This role leads creative production across platforms while ensuring all materials align with the Chamber’s brand standards and visual identity.
Graphic Design
-
Design and produce high-quality graphic assets for digital and print platforms including event promotions and signage, social media and website graphics, presentations, collateral and advertising.

Enhance Chamber signature events through creative promotional materials, large format signage and event collateral.

Develop and maintain design templates and visual toolkits to support efficiency and brand consistency.

Design and maintain Chamber building and room signage.

Maintain and apply the Chamber’s brand standards across all visual materials to ensure consistency and quality.
Video & Photography

Capture and edit high quality video content for Chamber events, social media and marketing campaigns.

Produce, film and edit the Chamber’s bi-weekly video series with the President & CEO, Do You Have a Minute?

Capture professional photos and videos during Chamber events and programs.

Photograph headshots of Chamber staff members.

Edit video and photo content for use across multiple platforms.
Additional Creative Support
-
Support development and execution of social media strategy through visual storytelling and creative content.

Attend Chamber events and programs to support creative execution and content capture.
-
Collaborate with team to translate campaign goals and messaging into effective visual assets.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong communication and collaboration with internal teams.

Ensure all creative projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

Maintain vendor relationships and oversee deliverables, timelines and expenses.

Stay informed on emerging creative technologies and trends that support innovative and effective content.

Utilize Marketing department processes and project management systems to maintain efficiency and quality.

A bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
-
At least three years of experience in a graphic design, multimedia or creative role.

Demonstrated experience in video production and photography.

Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premier Pro, After Effects.

Experience designing for print, web, video and large format signage.

Strong understanding of lighting, audio, composition and storytelling.

Working knowledge of project management software, such as Asana.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
