We are looking for a highly methodical and proficient Creative Production Lead for a short-term contract. This role requires the successful candidate to manage studio activities, coordinate personnel and assets, and drive enhancements to workflows to establish streamlined and scalable production methods.

This Lead will be responsible for overseeing the daily functioning of creative solutions and engaging with external partners within our in-house studios. This client-facing capacity demands the efficient allocation of resources (including internal staff and external contingent/freelance talent), the management of studio reservations, and the formulation of effective processes to maximize creative output and overall impact.

The individual will collaborate closely with studio support staff and contract/freelance teams to guarantee smooth scheduling, optimal use of studio space, and the delivery of premium client support. Additionally, they will function as a bridge between our studio services department and both our internal and external stakeholders.

The role is physically located in New York, NY.

Responsibilities:

  • Studio Operations Oversight: Supervise all aspects of studio management, ensuring seamless daily operations and cultivating a productive creative atmosphere.
  • Booking and Utilization: Manage studio time slots, strategically balancing client needs, internal personnel, and external talent to optimize facility usage.
  • Quality & Timeliness Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables are completed on schedule and within financial limits, consistently upholding high standards for quality and client satisfaction.
    Client Engagement & Interface:
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients utilizing the studio, managing expectations and ensuring a frictionless experience.
  • Task Flow & Handover: Take ownership of task management, partner communications, and the tracking/coordination of the Ads Program.
  • Alignment & Collaboration: Work with internal partners and external clients to match client briefs with available studio capabilities and timelines.
  • Client Experience Management: Oversee client expectations and the holistic customer journey.
  • Resource AlLocation: Coordinate the deployment of internal and contingent resources, aligning skills with projects for maximum effectiveness.
  • Team Coordination: Partner closely with MVP coordinators and contingent teams to manage operational handoffs and scheduling.
  • Tech Integration: Implement new tools and external providers, specifically focusing on solutions that enhance AI integration, flexibility, and scale.
  • Process Enhancement:
  • Develop, deploy, and continually refine studio protocols, guidelines, and optimal practices.
  • Identify opportunities for greater efficiency, scalability, and quality within all studio processes.
  • Produce toolkits and guides to support production teams and ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Reporting & Communication:

  • Prepare and deliver regular, detailed reports on studio usage, booking statistics, and operational metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Core Proficiencies Required.
  • Creative/Studio Production Expertise - Practical experience managing creative workflows and studio floor operations.
  • Scheduling & Resource Management - Exceptional organizational skills for coordinating schedules, bookings, and talent deployment.
  • Client Relationship Management - Superb interpersonal abilities for client interaction and setting clear expectations.
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in studio management, creative production, or comparable operational roles.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and project management abilities, shown by a history of optimizing operations and handling complex scheduling.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build strong relationships with both clients and internal colleagues.
  • Experience in coordinating resources across multiple locations or regions.
  • The capacity to formulate and enact effective operational processes and drive efficiency gains.
  • The ability to work effectively and comfortably within a rapidly evolving, fast-paced environment.

Desired Attributes:

  • Familiarity with production management software and studio booking systems.
  • Knowledge of the concepts of digital marketing, creative output, and agency operations.
  • A clear interest in process innovation and emerging technologies.
  • Experience managing both in-house personnel and contract/freelance support.
