Job Description
The Credit Analyst will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of customers, analyzing financial data, enforcing internal credit policies, supporting field teams, and preparing credit performance reports. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and thorough knowledge of credit processes, compliance, and financial evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate financial statements and assess creditworthiness of businesses and individuals.
- Manage credit risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support credit strategies and provide guidance to field teams.
- Enforce internal credit policies and maintain adherence to SLAs.
- Review, analyze, and approve credit applications within defined limits.
- Collaborate with business teams to balance growth and risk management.
- Prepare regional credit performance and trend reports.
- Apply financial analysis and risk assessment skills effectively.
- Maintain updated knowledge of credit policies, collections, and recovery processes.
Requirements
- Experienced Candidates: Up to 3 years of experience in credit, finance, or risk roles within the financial sector.
- Fresh Graduates: 16 years of education in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related fields from an HEC-recognized institution.
Skills Required
- Strong financial analysis and credit assessment skills
- Risk management and compliance understanding
- Knowledge of lending policies and credit procedures
- Reporting, documentation, and analytical skills
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
