credit card sales job involves proactively finding customers (in-field or via calls) to promote, explain, and sell bank credit cards, meeting targets, handling applications, providing post-sale service, cross-selling other financial products (loans, insurance), managing client data, and reporting sales, requiring strong communication, persuasion, and customer service skills for revenue generation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Acquisition: Identify, approach, and engage potential customers for credit card products.
  • Product Promotion: Clearly explain features, benefits, fees, eligibility, and usage of different card types.
  • Sales & Targets: Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and activation goals.
  • Application Management: Guide customers through the application process and ensure timely submission.
  • Customer Service: Address inquiries, complaints, and provide ongoing support.
  • Relationship Building: Manage client databases, follow up, and build loyalty.
  • Cross-selling: Upsell other bank products like loans, savings accounts, or insurance.
  • Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly sales reports for management.

Typical Skills & Qualifications:

  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, persuasion, self-motivation, and customer service.
  • Experience: Background in sales, banking, or financial services is often preferred.
  • Education: Minimum 12th pass or diploma/degree often required.
  • Work Style: May involve field visits, telecalling, and working irregular hours (including weekends).
