Credit Controller

Job location: İstanbul


The Credit Controller is responsible for risk management, managing customer credit exposure, ensuring timely collections, and minimizing financial risk through proactive monitoring and effective communication with clients,sales team and insurance partners. This role also contributes to process improvements, digital transformation, and reporting activities within the credit management function.

This position is under the Credit Department and will report directly to the Cluster Credit Manager for Türkiye and Central Asia.


Job Description;


  • Manage daily credit limit control and delivery approval operation of clients,
  • Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, sending dunning letters for overdue receivables and reminders for payments.
  • Monitor customer credit exposure, payment trends, and risk indicators, performing periodic overdue and risk reviews to identify high-risk clients.
  • Review and assess customer financial documents and establish credit limits based on company policies.
  • Prepare and send accurate and timely account statements to customers.
  • Track and reconcile customer accounts to ensure accurate payment recording.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies regarding customer limit requests, updates, and cancellations.
  • Take a leading role in digitalization, AI integration, and global SAP development initiatives related to credit management.
  • Prepare month-end reports and provide analytical insights to management.
  • Contribute to credit policy development and continuous process enhancement to improve efficiency and risk control.



Qualification:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a credit control, finance, or risk management role, preferably within a multinational or matrixed organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a proven capacity to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to support business operations effectively.
  • Demonstrated success in working across functional and geographical boundaries in a matrix environment.
  • Solid analytical capabilities, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
  • Fluency in both English and Turkish , with the ability to communicate professionally in both languages.
