Credit Controller

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to manage receivables, ensure timely payments, and supervise the credit and customer setup process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage credit control, customer accounts, and collections to ensure payments within agreed terms.
• Review new customer accounts, make credit decisions, and negotiate payment terms.
• Resolve customer credit issues and disputes professionally.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on receivables, overdue accounts, and doubtful debts.
• Monitor high-risk accounts and recommend provisions or write-offs.
• Support sales by reviewing ‘On Hold’ orders and participating in daily sales activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting regulations, and reporting standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in credit control, collections, or corporate finance.
• Strong credit analysis, risk evaluation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and SAP.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Experience managing national accounts and high-volume collections.
