Credit Controller

We’re looking for a Credit Controller to join our finance operations and help strengthen cash flow through effective credit risk management and collections.

Shift: 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM (PKST)

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain an effective credit control and collections process aligned with company policy and commercial strategy.

Assess new and existing customer credit applications, conduct credit checks, and recommend/set credit limits and payment terms.

Monitor customer balances and accounts receivable aging; proactively identify high-risk or overdue accounts and take appropriate action.

Manage and collect outstanding debts by issuing reminders, contacting customers, and negotiating payment plans where appropriate.

Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to resolve invoice disputes, billing issues, and payment queries quickly and professionally.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit files and collection notes in the ERP/AR system, ensuring clear audit trails.

Produce regular reporting on DSO, aging, collections performance, and credit exposure/risk for management review.

Recommend accounts for credit hold, escalation, write-off, or legal action in accordance with company policy and approvals.

Identify opportunities to improve credit control practices, streamline workflows, and reduce overdue and bad debt.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role—preferably in a B2B environment.

Solid understanding of credit risk, collections practices, and basic accounting principles.

Strong Excel skills and experience using accounting/ERP systems; confident handling aging reports and large datasets.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to manage difficult conversations professionally.

High attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to manage a portfolio of accounts with competing priorities.
