Crew Leader, Lawn Care

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Lawn Care Crew Leader to oversee daily field operations and lead a lawn maintenance crew. This role requires strong leadership skills, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to ensure high-quality service delivery on residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and supervise a lawn care crew to ensure efficient and professional job completion
• Drive company truck and trailer safely to and from job sites
• Operate commercial-grade lawn care equipment, including walk-behind and stand-on mowers
• Perform mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and other routine lawn maintenance services
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Ensure job sites meet company quality standards before departure
• Communicate effectively with management, team members, and clients as needed
• Maintain safety compliance and enforce company policies on-site

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience running a lawn care crew, including driving a truck and trailer
• Proven experience operating commercial walk-behind and stand-on mowers
• Experience using standard lawn care equipment (trimmers, edgers, blowers, hedge trimmers, etc.)
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Strong leadership and time-management skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must be willing to work overtime when needed
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor throughout the workday

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of basic equipment troubleshooting and minor repairs
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience. Overtime opportunities available.
