Job Purpose

The job holder is responsible for crisis response activities including monitoring, coordinating, and responding to crisis events, executing predefined protocols and supporting during incidents.


Key Functional Accountabilities

• Ensuring work is performed based on approved policies, processes, procedures, and instructions.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, practices, cost optimization, and productivity & efficiency improvement.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards within WTCO and related functions such as but not limited to (HC, HSSE, Risk, Cybersecurity, etc..).

• Escalate problems to ensure case/issue is closed efficiently and in a timely manner.

• Follow established emergency and crisis response procedures.

• Record incidents accurately and promptly in designated systems.

• Assist in distributing alerts, warnings, and updates to stakeholders.

• Participate in drills and training sessions.

• Continuously monitor real-time information from multiple sources, including alerts, surveillance systems, and reports.

• Initiate standard crisis response actions as instructed by higher-level operators or management.

• Ensure all emergency communication systems (e.g., radios, telephony, messaging tools) are operational and updated.

• Execution of crisis response protocols and escalating complex issues to the Senior Operator.

• Collect and relay critical information to the operator team and supervisors.

• Assist in deploying crisis response resources as needed.

• Prepare initial incident reports for review by higher-level operators.

• Maintain detailed logs and records of all actions taken during a crisis incident.

• Support post-crisis reporting by preparing incident summaries and compiling data.

• Participate in training exercises and simulations to enhance response readiness.

• 0 to 3 years of relevant experience.


Education and Certifications

• Diploma’s Degree in Crisis Management
