Job Purpose
-
Maintain & improve the guidelines for responding to crisis situations that may threaten the safety, health and security of Yokogawa staff & families, Yokogawa’s contractors & visitors and/or Yokogawa’s assets in the Middle East & Africa Region.

Establish & maintain a regional Business Continuity Management System & certification.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
-
Conduct daily monitoring of ISOS and approved news sources (e.g., NHK, BBC, CNN, Reuters), and report relevant updates while cross‑checking traveler locations.
-
Assist in preparing information for regional security assessments; physical assessments to be conducted only under direction of senior staff.
-
Support the review and documentation of security plans for Security Level 3 & 4 areas for senior review.

Assist in updating country maps and security levels in the Crisis Management portal as instructed.

Assist in the coordination and administration of trainings, including:
-
HEAT.
-
Vismo.
-
Business Trips awareness sessions.
-
Support maintenance of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for Security & Safety purposes.
-
Assist in maintaining the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) and its documentation.
-
Support the maintenance and administration of the Crisis Management portal.
-
Assist in updating and reviewing Crisis Management QMS documents under supervision.
-
Support in maintaining the Crisis Management room and assets, as applicable.

Support management of travel requests, including:
-
Preparing travel documentation for review.
-
Supporting Security Level 3 & 4 requirements documentation for management approval.
-
Assist in weekly reviews of:
-
RKM‑06‑006E “Security Level List by Countries and Areas” and associated records.
-
YMA travelers’ report and documentation.
-
Support in review of Subsistence Allowance Claims (no approval authority).
-
Maintain None‑YMA travelers’ reports on a daily basis and escalate discrepancies.
-
Maintain Crisis Management records and contracts (e.g., Vismo Privacy Statements, RKM) on the server following established filing standards.
-
Support maintenance and routine testing of satellite phones and report test results.
-
Support Vismo administration activities, including:
-
Allocating and removing Vismo licenses as approved.
-
Monitoring Vismo status and notifying users to update locations when required.
-
Supporting initiation of Vismo safety checks during tests or emergencies under instruction.
-
Draft crisis‑related announcements and alerts for review and release by authorized personnel using YMA Crisis Management email or other approved systems.

Provide emergency support 24‑hour on‑call.
-
Escalate emergency calls, incidents, and system alerts immediately to senior Crisis Management.
-
Assist in collecting information for security incident follow‑ups and summary reports / investigation reports.
-
Support reviews of YHQ Crisis Management requirements, including local and international compliance aspects.
-
Track action items and updates to the Action Plan as assigned.
-
Support continuous system and process improvements by identifying issues and reporting enhancement opportunities.
Qualification and Experience
-
A Bachelor Degree with at least 4-6 years’ experience in related field.
-
Preferably has a military, security or risk assessment background.

Business continuity management system experience/knowledge.
-
Good report writing in English & Arabic.
