Crochet Embroidery Designer

Job Summary:
The Crochet Embroidery Designer is responsible for creating visually appealing, detailed, and production-ready crochet and embroidery designs. The role includes preparing patterns, stitch diagrams, digital embroidery files, and collaborating with the production team to ensure that every design meets technical and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop unique crochet and embroidery designs based on brand trends and client requirements.
Create stitch charts, patterns, colorways, and detailed technical sheets.
Convert designs into machine-readable embroidery formats (DST, PES, JEF, etc.).
Produce high-resolution digital mockups for approval.
Ensure all designs are production-friendly and aligned with fabric, thread, and size specifications.
Collaborate with the sampling team to finalize stitch quality and finishing.
Revise designs based on feedback from designers or clients.
Maintain a library of digital design files and ensure accurate documentation.
Stay updated with crochet techniques, embroidery trends, motifs, and market aesthetics.
Skills & Requirements
Strong understanding of crochet stitches, patterns, motifs, and construction.
Experience with embroidery digitizing software (Wilcom, Hatch, PE-Design, etc.).
Ability to create clean, professional technical drawings and diagrams.
Knowledge of textile materials, threads, needles, and machine operations.
Attention to detail and ability to translate concepts into accurate designs.
Creativity with a good sense of color combinations and pattern layout.
Ability to manage multiple design projects under deadlines.
