Job Title: Curriculum Content Writer (Assamese)
Location: Guwahati (Assam)

Role Summary:
The Curriculum Content Writer will be responsible for developing engaging, accurate, and effective educational content in the Assamese language across multiple subjects. The role requires strong language expertise, creativity, and a deep understanding of the learning needs of Assamese-speaking students. Working closely with educators and subject matter experts, the Curriculum Content Writer will ensure that all materials align with state educational standards and foster meaningful learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality curriculum content in the required language, including lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and multimedia resources.
  • Create activity-based, interactive, and child-centered learning content aligned with NEP and Akshar’s goals.
  • Design assessment tools, worksheets, and practice exercises.
  • Write original, easy-to-understand educational content across subjects (English, Math, Science, etc.).
  • Work closely with academic experts to review and refine content for accuracy and relevance.
  • Adapt and localize content to meet the specific learning needs of Assamese-speaking students.
  • Ensure content is age-appropriate, inclusive, and aligned with child protection and safeguarding standards.
  • Incorporate feedback from teachers, trainers, and program teams to improve curriculum materials.
  • Review, edit, and update existing curriculum resources for improved clarity, engagement, and effectiveness.
  • Ensure all content adheres to State Board standards and guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development of digital and interactive learning resources.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum experience in curriculum design, content writing, or educational publishing.
  • Ability to design learner-centric, engaging, and inclusive educational content.
  • Strong writing and editing skills in Assamese, with ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Familiarity with NEP 2020, NCERT frameworks, and experiential learning methodologies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace; knowledge of digital content creation tools is an advantage.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of child-centric pedagogy.
