Job Summary
The Curriculum Designer utilizes program and course design principles and practices to provide essential project leadership and support for the execution of the College’s strategic curricular and assessment initiatives. This includes collaborating with faculty and administrators in the development and implementation of course, program, and institutional level assessment initiatives.

Required Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Technology or related.
  • Two (2) years of experience with instructional design/curriculum development and working with educators using a variety of approaches to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Three (3) years of experience in an educational setting; teaching or training experience.
  • Strong team and customer orientation and successful experience coaching, motivating, and developing skills in others.
  • Effective communication skill, both orally and in writing in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of curriculum development, design, and assessments with a strong foundation in performance-based learning.
  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Adult learner teaching experience.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with research methods and statistics.

Specific vision abilities required may include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
