ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

Schedule/Hours: Part-time and with Evening and or Saturday

This position is responsible Provides a variety of cleaning duties and maintains the building to ensure the upkeep, neatness, and cleanliness of the same on a daily basis.

• Duty 1: Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms; cleans sinks and toilets, polishes mirrors, and replenishes supplies. Sweeps, vacuums, mops floors; sweeps sidewalks. Cleans windows, dusts, and polishes furniture and fixtures. Empty trash cans regularly; collects trash from grounds and cleans trash cans.

• Duty 2: Assists in setting up meeting rooms; sets up tables and chairs; puts ice in glasses and sets out drinks.

• Duty 3: Assists with seasonal program events as needed.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects.
• Duties are performed standing and requires squatting, climbing, bending and walking. Any of the preceding duties may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of sitting.
• Extensive amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying heavy objects (up to 75 lbs.).

Experience: Six months’ experience performing general janitorial and general maintenance duties:

Any Equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
