Customer Account Manager--Northwestern States

Location: Hybrid Role within Northwestern States Region
Travel: ~25% – includes client visits and industry events
Industry: Commercial bread bakery (300 employees, $80 M annual sales)

About Us
We’re a growing commercial bread bakery with a team of 300, achieving $80M in annual sales. We’re seeking a customer-centric Account Manager to nurture client relationships, ensure satisfaction, and support our sales team’s growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for established client accounts — building trust and ensuring ongoing satisfaction
  • Troubleshoot and resolve client issues quickly and effectively
  • Collaborate closely with sales managers and internal teams (production, logistics, quality, finance) to align on customer needs and expectations
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and expand existing accounts, helping to drive revenue growth
  • Monitor account health, track KPIs, and deliver regular status reports
  • Support and represent the company at trade shows, demos, and client events (approx. 25% travel)
  • Document interactions and project updates in our CRM system

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Customer or Account Manager in a B2B or wholesale setting
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and priorities
  • Ability to collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable with occasional travel for client meetings and events
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and MS Office suite

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in the food manufacturing, CPG, or bakery industry
  • Background in logistics coordination or supply-chain environment
  • Analytical skills to interpret sales trends and inform strategic decisions
