Key Responsibilities

Customer Master Data Management
-
Manage complex create/update/merge workflows for customer master data within the MDM ecosystem (Informatica IDQ & MDM).

Identify inefficiencies in customer data processes and recommend improvements to streamline workflows.

Ensure account hierarchy structures remain accurate and support business reporting needs.
-
Support and improve enrichment processes for key attributes such as industry, geography, and customer size.

Data Quality & Continuous Improvement

Develop, monitor, and refine data quality rules and thresholds, ensuring alignment with business requirements.

Perform in-depth data profiling and match & merge validations to maintain a single source of truth.

Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring issues and work with IT or process owners to implement permanent fixes.

Share best practices with other team members and provide guidance on data analysis techniques.

Cross-System Alignment & Automation

Partner with IT and business teams to improve automation for customer onboarding, updates, and hierarchy management.

Monitor data synchronization across enterprise systems and flag misalignments for resolution.

Document process improvements and collaborate on UAT for system changes impacting customer data.

Governance & Stakeholder Collaboration
-
Participate in data governance forums, contribute to policies and best practices.

Act as a point of contact for customer data-related inquiries and escalations.

Reporting & Monitoring

Build and maintain reports or dashboards that track data quality KPIs.

Provide actionable insights and recommend process improvements based on trend analysis.
Skills & Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.

4–6 years of experience in Data Governance, MDM, or Data Quality roles.

Strong SQL skills for data profiling, complex querying, and automating data quality checks.

Experience improving data workflows and processes to reduce manual effort and improve data quality.
-
Familiarity with customer hierarchy management and CRM/ERP integrations.
-
Strong analytical skills and ability to perform detailed data profiling.
-
Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams and explain data issues in business terms.
-
Experience mentoring peers or junior colleagues in data management practices.
-
Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) for KPI reporting is a plus.

Hybrid working
By default, employees are expected to be in their local AVEVA office three days a week, but some positions are fully office-based. Roles supporting particular customers or markets are sometimes remote.
