Job Brief

The Trade Bank of Iraq (TBI) is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Relationship Officer to support the management and growth of corporate and financial institution client relationships in the Saudi Arabia branch.

The role will assist Relationship Managers in delivering high-quality banking services, coordinating client onboarding, and supporting business development initiatives across trade finance, lending, and treasury products.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Relationship Managers in managing day-to-day client interactions and servicing corporate and FI clients.

• Assist in client onboarding processes, including documentation, KYC, and account opening.

• Coordinate with internal departments (Credit, Compliance, Operations) to ensure timely processing of client requests.

• Prepare client proposals, reports, and presentations.

• Monitor client accounts and transactions, ensuring alignment with approved facilities.

• Support cross-selling of banking products including trade finance, FX, and cash management services.

• Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with internal policies and Saudi Central Bank requirements.

• Assist in preparing credit applications and follow up on approvals.

• Ensure high standards of customer service and responsiveness.

Applicant Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate banking, customer relationship support, or banking operations.
  • Exposure to trade finance or credit processes is an advantage.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of banking products (loans, trade finance, treasury).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Fluency in English
