Customer Service / Dispatcher

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, professional Customer Service & Dispacther to support our pallet manufacturing and logistics operations. This is a hybrid role responsible for customer service, dispatch coordination, and inside sales support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable communicating with customers, drivers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via phone and email
  • Process orders, answer inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Maintain professional and relationship-driven communication

Dispatch & Logistics Support

  • Assist with scheduling deliveries and pickups
  • Communicate with drivers, freight carriers, and internal production teams
  • Track shipments and proactively address delays or issues
  • Maintain accurate order and delivery records

Sales & Account Support

  • Assist with quoting, order follow-ups, and customer retention
  • Identify upsell and additional service opportunities
  • Support existing accounts and assist with onboarding new customers

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in customer service, dispatch, sales support, or logistics
  • Manufacturing, pallet, lumber, or transportation industry experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills (phone, email, customer interaction)
  • Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Comfortable with pricing discussions and customer follow-ups
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
