Customer Service Engineer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a passion for helping customers resolve their issues efficiently. This role involves providing exceptional support across various operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS, and Linux, while utilizing tools such as ServiceNow and VPN solutions. The successful candidate will be a key point of contact for customers, ensuring their inquiries are handled with professionalism and expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to customers across multiple platforms, including Windows, Mac OS, and Linux.
  • Assist users with troubleshooting issues related to operating systems and software applications.
  • Utilize ServiceNow for ticket management and tracking customer interactions.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Guide users in setting up VPN connections and resolving connectivity issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow up on unresolved issues.
  • Collaborate with IT support teams to escalate complex technical problems when necessary.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and technical advancements to enhance service delivery.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a customer service or technical support role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Mac OS, and Linux is essential.
  • Experience with IT support tools like ServiceNow is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users.
  • Knowledge of computer management practices and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
