Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator to join our trucking company’s operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for load building, driver scheduling, detention tracking, shipment monitoring, mailbox management, and handling internal queries to ensure smooth logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and experience in freight coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and optimize load assignments for drivers based on capacity, routes, and delivery deadlines.
  • Coordinate with shippers, receivers, and dispatchers to schedule pickups and deliveries efficiently.
  • Ensure accurate documentation (BOLs, rate confirmations) is processed and filed.
  • Monitor driver locations and ETAs using GPS/tracking systems (e.g., ELD, TMS).
  • Proactively communicate delays or issues to customers and internal teams.
  • Track and report detention times, ensuring drivers are compensated appropriately.
  • Manage the company’s digital and physical mailbox (invoices, PODs, compliance docs).
  • Organize and file shipping documents for billing and auditing purposes.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for driver inquiries (HOS, routing, pay questions).
  • Resolve internal operational queries from sales, billing, and management teams.
  • Provide real-time updates to customers on freight status and exceptions.
  • Address service failures (missed appointments, breakdowns) and escalate when needed.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years in trucking dispatch, logistics coordination, or customer service in logistics (Drayage experience highly preferred).
  • Proficiency in TMS software, ELD systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent phone/email communication with a calm, professional demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with load planning, DOT regulations, and freight terminology (LTL, FTL, detention, lumper fees).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs230,000.00 per month
