Cashier / Customer Service Office Associate – Baytown, TX

D&D Scrap Metal is a family-owned recycling company serving the Greater Houston area since 1996. We are known for working hard, treating people fairly, and staying competitive in the metal recycling industry. We are currently hiring a dependable, professional team member for our Baytown location.

Position Overview

This role combines front office support, cashiering, and customer service. You will be one of the first people customers interact with, so professionalism, accuracy, and a positive attitude are important.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist with inquiries
• Process customer transactions and payouts accurately
• Manage paperwork, receipts, and daily office tasks
• Enter and update customer information in company systems
• Assist with scheduling, filing, and internal office organization
• Support team operations as needed in a busy work environment

Qualifications

• Previous cashier, office, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and people skills
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Comfortable using computers, email, and Microsoft Office
• Able to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced setting
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Must be available to work Saturdays
