Centex Air & Heat is a locally owned, family-operated HVAC company proudly serving Bastrop County. We are looking for a dependable, organized, and proactive Customer Service Representative / Dispatcher to join our team.

What You’ll Do

• Dispatch service technicians efficiently (one call at a time)
• Respond to overnight messages and customer inquiries
• Schedule and coordinate incoming service calls via phone and email
• Create and manage service dispatches
• Contact customers to schedule repairs
• Maintain accurate scheduling and customer database records
• Maintain customer history files
• Assist with daily and monthly scheduling
• Support the General Manager with marketing tasks as needed
• Screen inbound calls
• Perform “Happy Calls” and confirm appointments
• Register equipment and process warranties
• Filing and general administrative support
• Perform other duties as needed

• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Strong planning and scheduling skills
• Proficient in data entry and computer systems
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
• Proactive mindset
• Map reading skills; knowledge of the local service area is a plus
• HVAC or industry knowledge is a plus (not required)
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be drug-free and able to pass a background check and drug test
