Customer Service Representative

Job Title: Telesales Executive

A Telesales Executive is responsible for generating sales over the phone by contacting potential or existing customers, promoting products/services, and closing deals. The role requires excellent communication skills, persuasion, and customer handling abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to potential customers to promote products or services
  • Handle inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries
  • Explain product features, benefits, and pricing clearly
  • Generate leads and follow up on prospects
  • Maintain and update customer databases (CRM)
  • Achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales targets
  • Handle objections and resolve customer concerns effectively
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Record call details and sales information accurately

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good persuasion and negotiation abilities
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM tools)
  • Ability to handle rejection and work under pressure
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • High school diploma or graduation (depending on company requirement)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in telesales, telemarketing, or customer service
  • Familiarity with sales techniques and CRM software

  • Number of calls made per day
  • Conversion rate (calls to sales)
  • Revenue generated
  • Customer satisfaction score
