Job Summary
The Complaint Attendant is responsible for receiving, recording, coordinating, and following up on customer complaints related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) services. The role ensures timely resolution of service issues, clear communication with clients, and effective coordination with technical teams to maintain high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive customer complaints via phone, email, or service platforms.
- Log and track complaints in the service management system.
- Coordinate with MEP technicians, supervisors, and site teams for issue resolution.
- Monitor complaint status and ensure timely closure within agreed service levels.
- Communicate updates and resolutions clearly to clients.
- Escalate urgent or unresolved issues to management.
- Maintain accurate records of complaints, actions taken, and outcomes.
- Support preparation of service reports and performance summaries.
- Ensure professional and courteous interaction with customers at all times.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is an advantage.
- Previous experience in customer service, maintenance coordination, or facilities management preferred.
- Basic understanding of MEP systems is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience working in MEP contracting, facilities management, or construction environment is an advantage.
- Strong customer-service mindset and problem-solving ability.
- Professional attitude and team-oriented work ethic.
Working Conditions
- Office-based role with coordination with site teams.
- May require handling urgent service calls and prioritizing tasks accordingly.
