JOB SUMMARY

The Product Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical assistance and product expertise to internal teams, customers, and distributors in a timely, efficient, professional manner. This role supports product installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and training for a range of manufactured equipment. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of precision fluid handling or process equipment. Must fit into company core values. Knowledge of or experience with ISO standards a plus. THIS IS NOT AN IT POSITION.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide prompt and professional technical support to customers via phone, email, or in person.
  • Troubleshoot product issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist with product installation, configuration, and operation guidance.
  • Document and report product defects, recurring issues, and customer feedback to engineering and quality teams.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Warranty departments to resolve product issues.
  • Support training efforts for internal staff, customers, and distributors, including creating technical documentation or presentations.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all company products and applications.
  • Ensure service and support records are accurately maintained in the system.
  • Participate in product improvement discussions and feedback loops with design and production teams.
  • May occasionally travel to customer sites for hands-on troubleshooting or training.
  • Comply with all Company policies

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in a technical support, field service, or engineering role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office; experience with ERP/CRM systems is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Comfortable working in both office and shop floor environments.

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL EXPIERENCE

  • Technical coursework, certification, or on-the-job training in mechanical,electrical, or industrial systems.
  • Experience working with fluid handling, chemical feed systems, instrumentation, or industrial automation equipment.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.

  • Requires minimal supervision

SPEACIAL REQUIREMENTS

May be required to work weekends as business necessitates; schedules will be determined by the department supervisor/management with at least 48 hours in advance notice.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
