Job Type- Full Time

Location- Kolkata, West Bengal

Salary- 8k - 15k per month (Depends on your skills and expertise)

Job Description

This is a full-time, in-office role for a proactive and client-focused professional who can handle customer onboarding, account coordination, and basic technical communication for hosting and data center services.

The role requires a blend of communication skills and foundational technical understanding to guide customers effectively and ensure a smooth service experience across Web Hosting, VPS, Dedicated Servers, Cloud Solutions, and related infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Assist potential clients throughout their onboarding journey, from configuration basics, and product-related queries.
  • Understand client requirements and guide them on suitable services such as Web Hosting, VPS, Dedicated Servers, or Cloud plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client accounts, helping them with upgrades, renewals, and service-related queries.
  • Provide basic technical clarification to clients with support from the technical team when needed.
  • Coordinate with technical engineers for issue resolution, custom setups, and escalations.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and account records, including follow-ups, renewals, and client communication.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients to improve retention and satisfaction.
  • Prepare account reports, renewal updates, and feedback summaries for management.
  • Stay updated with hosting industry trends, basic server concepts, and competitor offerings.
  • Participate in product training sessions and upskill in cloud/server technologies.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of IT terminologies etc.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in simple and clear language.
  • Ability to manage clients expectations and maintain professionalism.
  • Good analytical thinking and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality output
  • Willingness to learn hosting technologies and adapt quickly.
  • Knowledge of AI tools like ChatGPT for communication support and research is a plus.

Technical Exposure You Will Gain

  • Linux hosting management & server basics
  • Domain and DNS management
  • VPS, cloud nodes, and SSD/NVMe storage systems
  • Control panels like cPanel, WHM, Plesk
  • Ticketing and CRM tools used in tech companies
  • Understanding of data center operations
