Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Customer support, Customer Service Leader – Sales Coordination to oversee our Sales Coordination team in the India office. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience working with SAP and Oracle ERP systems. This role is critical in ensuring smooth order processing, high-quality customer service, and effective collaboration with internal teams across MEF’s international operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor the Sales Coordination team to ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders and inquiries through SAP and Oracle ERP.
  • Manage day-to-day operations to maintain exceptional customer service standards and efficient order-to-cash processes.
  • Serve as the ERP subject matter expert, supporting process improvements, troubleshooting issues, and guiding team members on system best practices.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism, coordinating with cross-functional departments to implement effective solutions.
  • Track service metrics, analyze performance data, and recommend actionable improvements in accuracy, efficiency, and service quality.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team culture, providing ongoing coaching and training to drive high performance and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading Customer Service, Sales Support, or Sales Coordination teams—preferably in a marine supply, trading, logistics, or B2B environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP and Oracle ERP platforms.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret customer service KPIs, identify gaps, and implement process enhancements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field; equivalent experience is also considered.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
