Customer Support & Transactions

Bank Muscat provides retail, corporate, and investment banking services across Oman.

A Customer Service Officer is a frontline banking role responsible for helping customers with daily banking needs inside the branch.

Core Responsibilities:

Customer Support & Transactions

Assist customers with:

Account opening and closing

Deposits and withdrawals

Fund transfers

Card services (ATM, debit/credit cards)

Handle cash transactions accurately

Customer Assistance

Answer customer inquiries about:

Loans

Accounts

Banking products and services

Resolve basic complaints and escalate complex issues

Branch Operations

Ensure smooth daily branch operations

Maintain proper documentation and records

Follow banking policies and procedures

Sales & Targets (Important in Banks)

Promote Bank Muscat products:

Personal loans

Credit cards

Savings accounts

Achieve assigned sales targets / cross-selling goals

Compliance & Accuracy

Follow strict banking regulations and compliance rules

Ensure accuracy in transactions and customer data

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field)

Good communication skills (English required, Arabic is an advantage)

Basic computer skills

Customer service or banking experience is a plus (but fresh graduates may apply for entry roles)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RO650.000 per month
