Customer/Employee Trainer

Job description summary:

This position is primarily responsible for scheduling and delivering end-user training for customers of Accurate Controls Inc. It also involves active participation in training programs for new and existing employees. Key responsibilities include maintaining and updating training materials and documentation, traveling to customer sites to conduct end-user training, and leading in-house factory demonstrations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

· Responsible for working with VP of Operations, Directors, Project Managers, Programmers, and Field Technicians to maintain a comprehensive training schedule.

· Responsible for developing and/or maintaining a training template and schedule of topics that will be used for all projects. The template can be customized to meet customer needs and will include all documentation (itinerary, sign-off sheets, etc.).

· Responsible for maintaining and preparing training user guides.

· Responsible for completing and delivering training videos.

· Responsible for updating and keeping the video training modules current.

· Responsible for coordinating training dates and schedules with Project Managers for customer training. Maintain, schedule, and coordinate the appropriate resources to cover all training needs.

· Responsible for conducting project factory demonstrations.

· Responsible for coordinating and confirming training dates, itineraries, and attendees with contractors and owners in advance of arrival on-site.

· Responsible for coordinating with all Directors on new-hire training courses and existing employees continuing education.

· Responsible for learning features and functionality of systems installed by ACI, including but not limited to access control systems, audio systems, interview room systems, video management systems, and security event logging software.

· Responsible for planning travel with facilities that optimizes time in the field while efficiently meeting training schedules.

· Responsible for developing new training courses and material associated with the introduction of new products or services.

· Engage in ongoing learning to enhance instructional techniques and training effectiveness.

· Aid with other/undefined ACI tasks as requested by the Director of Product Quality.

Education and/or Experience:

· Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills:

Successful performance in this role requires experience with the Office 365 suite. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with access control systems, audio systems, interview room systems, and video management systems. Experience with video editing software is a plus.
