Responsible for managing and executing all customs clearance activities for imports and exports, ensuring full compliance with local regulations while minimizing delays, penalties, and additional costs.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review all shipping documents (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin).

Coordinate with government authorities (Customs, SFDA, Ports, etc.).

Manage end-to-end clearance process from shipment arrival until final release.

Ensure correct HS code classification for all shipments.

Validate customs duties, taxes, and related charges.

Liaise with customs brokers and clearance agents.

Handle shipment issues such as inspections, holds, and delays.

Monitor critical shipments and reduce clearance lead time.

Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and company policies.

Provide periodic reports on clearance performance (cost, lead time, issues).
Key Requirements:

1-2 years of experience in customs clearance or similar role.

Strong knowledge of customs regulations and systems (e.g., FASAH, SABER in KSA).

Good understanding of Incoterms.

Experience dealing with government entities.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
