The Civil Engineer (Infrastructure & Storm Water) is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing storm water drainage systems and infrastructure works including pipelines, manholes, culverts, and related civil works. The role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and as per approved drawings and specifications

• Supervise construction of storm water drainage networks.
• Execute works such as pipe laying (RCP/HDPE/UPVC), manholes, catch pits, and box culverts.
• Review shop drawings and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and authority standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and survey teams.
• Monitor excavation, backfilling, and compaction activities.
• Ensure proper slope and alignment of drainage pipelines.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
• Prepare daily progress reports and material requests.
• Ensure HSE compliance at site.

Technical Knowledge Required:

• Storm water drainage design basics
• Hydraulic calculations (basic understanding)
• Utility coordination
• Road works and infrastructure works
• AutoCAD and basic Primavera/MS Project knowledge
• Familiar with authority regulations (e.g., municipality standards)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• 7+ years experience in infrastructure projects
• Experience in storm water, sewerage, and road works preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Typical Project Works:

• Storm water pipeline installation
• Box culvert construction
• Manhole and chamber construction
• Road crossing drainage works
• Surface water management systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
