Key ResponsibilitiesCurriculum & Instruction
- Plan and deliver dance lessons aligned with IB PYP/MYP/DP curriculum frameworks.
- Incorporate inquiry-based learning, reflective practices, and student-led exploration.
- Teach multiple dance forms: classical, contemporary, folk, creative movement, and global dance styles.
- Develop student understanding of dance theory, choreography, composition, and performance.
Assessment & Documentation
- Use IB-compliant formative and summative assessments to track student learning.
- Maintain portfolios, reflections, unit plans, assessment rubrics, and documentation as per IB standards.
- Prepare students for MYP e-assessments or DP dance components, if applicable.
Student Development
- Identify individual talent and guide students in technical and creative growth.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and confidence through dance.
- Facilitate student-led choreographies, inquiries, and projects.
School Events & Performances
- Direct and coordinate school events such as annual day, cultural programs, assemblies, and IB exhibitions.
- Choreograph pieces for inter-school competitions, international days, and art festivals.
Collaboration & Professional Engagement
- Work closely with other subject teachers for interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary units.
- Participate in IB training workshops, professional development sessions, and curriculum planning meetings.
- Engage with parents and the school community regarding student progress and events.
Classroom & Studio Management
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and energetic learning environment.
- Manage music systems, props, costumes, studio space, and equipment responsibly.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
