Job Description
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to support the analytical framework in the supply chain department and support on the analytical (finance modeling) front for ventures of Daraz. Through this role, we aim to offer you on the job learning and exposure to working in a fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to experience all aspects of financial modeling, warehousing and aspects of operational performance in e- commerce, and see immediate results of your efforts. You will leverage research, develop insights and hone your skills working on special projects with all 5 countries where Daraz operates and help the company set innovative practices.
This role reports to the Regional Performance Lead - Supply Chain Planning
- The role will be parked under the Supply Chain Planning wing, Regional Team in Daraz.
Key responsibilities
Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, etc., depending on the specific requirements of the role and organization.
Preparing and cleaning data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency. This involves handling missing data, removing duplicates, and resolving inconsistencies.
Using statistical methods, algorithms, and data visualization techniques to analyze data and extract insights. This may involve descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, machine learning algorithms, and more.
Interpreting the results of data analysis and communicating findings to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner. This often involves creating reports, presentations, and visualizations.
Identifying trends, patterns, and correlations in data to solve specific business problems or address research questions.
Working closely with cross-functional teams such as business domain owners, other data analysts in related departments and managers to support decision-making and achieve organizational goals.
Position Requirement
Bachelor's degree program in STEM from a reputable institution, Masters is a plus.
2+ years of experience in an analytical or data driven role with hands-on SQL.
Financial Forecasting & Model development experience is a plus.
Knowledge on how A/B tests are conducted and analyzed is a must.
Expertise in SQL and Python knowledge is a must.
You are comfortable using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, or PowerBI).
Highly organized and self-disciplined, able to work on multiple projects in a self-structured and well-prioritized way.
Data-driven & with a good attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a problem-solving attitude are the cornerstone of your personality.
You must be adept at G-Suite.
Knowledge of e-commerce operations and warehousing is a plus.
