TTO International, a subdivision of TTO BMA, is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data Analyst. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth data exploration, auditing historical data for accuracy and trends, building dashboards, and generating actionable insights that directly support strategic decision-making across departments. In addition, you will be analyzing market trends and supply-demand dynamics. Your insights and recommendations will be instrumental in helping our organization make informed business decisions for the company and our customers and maintain a competitive edge in the Pulp, Tissue and Recycled Paper industry.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze data for multiple pulp, tissue and recovered paper grades, across different geographical areas. Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to gather relevant data and insights. This includes internal databases, market reports, and industry publications. Utilize statistical models and financial analysis techniques to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities.
  • Data auditing: Audit historical and current data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency. You’ll regularly review datasets to verify data integrity—checking for anomalies, outdated records, duplication, and missing values. This includes tracing data back to its source, validating against business rules, and documenting discrepancies. Your audits will support compliance, reporting accuracy, and process improvements across the organization.
  • Apply Data Sense and Logic: Beyond technical checks, you’ll use reasoning, pattern recognition, and contextual awareness to spot subtle errors or unlikely trends in data. For example, if a customer appears to have multiple conflicting entries or a sales figure looks inconsistent with historical performance, you'll dig deeper to validate or correct it. Your ability to think critically helps ensure data reflects real-world operations.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and translate them into meaningful analysis. Whether it's supporting a marketing campaign, product enhancement, or financial review, you'll provide the insights that help teams make informed, confident decisions.
  • Deliver Clear, Actionable Insights: translate complex data results into clear visualizations, executive summaries, and presentations. Whether speaking with senior leadership or frontline teams, your communication will bridge the gap between raw data and actionable business insights.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as Data analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably within the pulp or related industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret large volumes of data.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, data visualization tools, and statistical software.
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • This role may require flexibility, and candidates should be willing to work beyond standard working hours to meet deadlines or address urgent issues as needed.
  • Candidate must be ready and able to work from home, with a reliable internet connection and a suitable remote work setup.
