Data Analyst

Overview:

• We are looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst / Report Developer with strong expertise in SQL and Tableau to design, develop, and maintain complex dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will have experience transforming raw data into meaningful business insights, optimising SQL queries, and collaborating with stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports that deliver clear, actionable insights.
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries , joins, and stored procedures to extract and transform data from multiple data sources.
• Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective visualisations.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance in all reports and dashboards.
• Automate and schedule reports for periodic distribution and alerting.
• Perform data validation and troubleshooting to ensure reliable and accurate reporting outputs.
• Work closely with database administrators, ETL developers, and business analysts to support data projects.
• Continuously improve report performance and optimise data models for Tableau.
• Able to gather reports requirements.
• Prepare and create BRD for reports.
• Able to communicate with clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, or a related field .
• Proven experience (5+ years) in SQL development and Tableau report/dashboard creation .
• Strong understanding of data modelling, relationships, and joins .
• Experience with data visualisation best practices and storytelling with data.
• Ability to handle large datasets and optimise queries for performance.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
