Industry Fundamentals is a unique dataset that collects company reported financial data regarding Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and other Financial parameters. We are a truly global team! With presence in United States, Pakistan and India, you, along with your counterparts will be providing high quality, accurate, and timely content to our customers which is critical for their decision-making.)

The Impact

As a Data Analyst in Industry Fundamentals, your main task would be to extract, scrutinize and standardize the financial information available in company released documents and aggregate level essential data relevant to S&P Global covered companies, which is then provided to our clients in the form of a formulated product for S&P Global.

Responsibilities

  • High quality data (Financial / Non-Financial Data) collation, analysis, extraction and entering the data in work tools as per guideline specifications for assigned vertical
  • Understand the working of the dataset, be aware of the workflows and have strong working knowledge of work tools
  • Providing input and ideas for new collection methods and product enhancements related to the dataset
  • Deliver on predefined individual and team targets including delivering outcomes with quality and excellence.
  • Create tech expertise within department
  • Troubleshoots problems or issues and support team in enhancing the workflow/processes for department
  • Reviewing feedback involving transactions content to help correct errors and establish or refine procedures and processes to improve accuracy

Qualifications

  • Fresh graduates - PGDM/MBA specializing in Finance/Accounts (Passing year 2026)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate insights, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders along with good presentation skills.
  • Shift Requirement: Rotational shifts including night shift as per business requirement
  • Working or Basic knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, or process efficiency improvements
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in SQL for querying, validating, and analyzing large datasets
  • Awareness or hands-on exposure to AI/ML concepts and tools, including their application in data analysis, automation, or workflow optimization.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and accountancy, including financial statements and annual reports
  • Well versed with secondary research sources
  • Willing to work in 24*5 environment on rotational shifts (including night shifts)
  • Certification or knowledge/experience in MS-office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and interpretive skills
  • Ability to conduct efficient thematic online research
  • Certification/Knowledge of Lean, Automation, Artificial Intelligence and Data Bases would be plus.
