Role Summary
The Senior officer of Commercial Data Analytics is responsible for translating complex data sets into actionable business intelligence. This role supports the Commercial Department by analyzing revenue streams, market trends, and operational performance to maximize profitability and improve efficiency across all guest-facing touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Performance Analysis:

Monitor and report on core revenue streams, including admissions, retail, and ancillary services.

Identify trends in sales data to provide stakeholders with regular performance updates and variance analysis.

Assist in the development of demand-based pricing models and promotional strategies.

Retail & Merchandising Analytics:

Analyze retail performance, focusing on product sell-through rates, inventory turnover, and margin health.

Conduct "market basket" analysis to understand purchasing patterns and optimize product placement.

Evaluate the effectiveness of promotional offers and seasonal merchandising shifts.

Guest & Market Insights:

Synthesize guest demographic and behavioral data to identify key audience segments and growth opportunities.

Support the marketing team by tracking the conversion rates and ROI of various sales channels and campaigns.

Reporting & Visualization:

Develop and maintain automated dashboards that provide "at-a-glance" insights for department heads.

Standardize data collection methods across different platforms (POS, Ticketing, and CRM).
Technical Skills & Qualifications

Analytical Tools:
Strong proficiency in
SQL
and experience with data visualization software (e.g.,
Tableau, Power BI, or Google Looker Studio
