Data Analyst – Email Marketing

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with strong Email Marketing experience to analyze campaign performance, optimize outreach strategies, and support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with email platforms, CRM data, and marketing analytics to improve lead generation, engagement, and conversion rates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze email marketing campaign performance including open rates, click-through rates (CTR), bounce rates, conversions, and ROI
  • Build dashboards and reports to track KPIs and campaign trends
  • Segment email lists using behavioral, demographic, and engagement data
  • Monitor deliverability metrics and suggest improvements to reduce spam rates
  • Perform A/B testing analysis (subject lines, content, timing, CTAs)
  • Clean, validate, and manage large datasets from CRM and email platforms
  • Provide actionable insights to marketing and sales teams
  • Collaborate with email marketing specialists to optimize campaigns
  • Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in data analysis with email marketing exposure
  • Strong skills in Excel / Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
  • Experience with email marketing tools (e.g., Apollo, GMass, Brevo, Mailmeteor, Mailchimp, HubSpot)
  • Strong understanding of email KPIs and marketing funnels
  • Experience working with CRM data and lead databases
  • Ability to interpret data and present insights clearly

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SQL, Python, or data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
  • Knowledge of cold email campaigns and lead generation strategies
  • Understanding of U.S. B2B marketing and outbound email best practices
  • Familiarity with spam compliance and email warm-up processes
  • Experience supporting marketing teams in construction, SaaS, or B2B services
