Senior Lab Support Engineer

Job Summary:

The Senior Lab Support Engineer will ensure the smooth operations of all IT labs by regularly updating all labs with the latest software, hardware, and documentation. The role involves maintaining a detailed inventory to track equipment availability and functionality, overseeing surveillance systems to ensure security and compliance, and managing lab staff duty rosters for adequate coverage. The Support Engineer will also handle daily technical queries and issues across campus IT labs and prepare and manage the IT Master Timetable for more than 45 departments.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline.
  • 2-3 years of experience in IT lab management and coordination, including maintaining IT asset inventories and documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software installation, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to handle daily technical support requests.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments and stakeholders.
