Data Analyst - Junior

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing insightful reports, and supporting data-driven decision-making processes. This role requires a strong understanding of data analysis tools, database management, and project management methodologies to deliver actionable insights that drive business growth and efficiency.

Duties

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using tools such as SQL, R, Python, and ETL processes.
• Design and develop dashboards and visualizations utilizing Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and Visio to communicate findings effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies to support project goals and deliverables.
• Manage the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for data projects from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Perform business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and data integration using Linked Data and database design principles.
• Develop scripts in VBA, Bash (Unix shell), or other languages to automate data workflows and reporting tasks.
• Support database management activities involving Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and other relational database systems.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous validation techniques and adherence to best practices in data analysis.
• Assist in project management activities related to data initiatives, including documentation and stakeholder communication.

Experience

• Proven experience in data analysis with strong proficiency in SQL, R, Python, and ETL tools such as Talend.
• Hands-on experience with visualization platforms like Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.
• Knowledge of Agile project management frameworks and SDLC processes.
• Familiarity with database design principles for Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or similar systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets into clear insights.
• Experience with business analysis techniques to support strategic decision-making.
• Practical knowledge of analytics tools including VBA scripting and Bash (Unix shell).

Pay: Rs70,765.24 - Rs85,222.66 per year
