Job Purpose
The Data Analyst II plays a key role in delivering data-driven insights and supporting decision-making across business units at Floward. This role involves conducting in-depth data analysis, building and maintaining ETL pipelines, designing performance dashboards, and applying statistical models to uncover growth and optimization opportunities. The Analyst collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, impactful, and actionable data outputs.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Interpretation

Conduct exploratory data analysis to understand business processes and identify optimization opportunities.

Apply statistical models and business logic to extract actionable insights from structured and semi-structured datasets.

Design and interpret experiments and surveys that inform strategic business decisions.
Data Modeling & Pipeline Development

Contribute to data modeling and transformation pipelines using SQL and Python.

Build, automate, and maintain ETLs to ensure reliable and timely data delivery.

Work with data engineers to ensure proper data governance and documentation.
Visualization & Reporting

Develop dashboards and reports using BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI) to track and communicate key business metrics.

Maintain and evolve visualizations based on stakeholder feedback and evolving business needs.
Business & Strategic Support

Partner with product, marketing, operations, and finance to support strategic projects.

Provide recommendations backed by data to drive commercial outcomes.

Communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders across geographies.
Education
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
Experience

Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably in the e-commerce or retail industry.

Strong experience in SQL, with working knowledge of Python or R.

Hands-on experience in building dashboards and performing exploratory data analysis.

Prior experience in designing experiments and analyzing survey data is a plus.
Technical Skills

Proficient in SQL, Python (Pandas, Matplotlib), or R (Shiny, ggplot2, RMarkdown).

Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data modeling techniques.

Familiarity with Jupyter Notebooks and Git for version control.
