Job Description – Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in driving our organization’s data analysis and reporting functions. You will be responsible for gathering, transforming, and interpreting data from diverse sources to deliver meaningful insights that support data-driven decision-making. Your expertise in Excel, Power BI, and analytical techniques will be critical to ensuring that our reports are accurate, reliable, and actionable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, verify, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, correlations, and patterns.
• Design, develop, and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports using Excel and Power BI to present information in a clear and visually engaging way.
• Collaborate with different teams to understand their data requirements and provide actionable insights to support their strategic and operational decisions.
• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses and generate custom reports based on stakeholder needs.
• Stay updated on emerging tools, techniques, and best practices in data analysis, Excel, and Power BI to continuously improve reporting capabilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Excel and Power BI analysis within a data-focused environment.
• Strong command of Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
• Proficiency in Power BI (or equivalent tools) for building interactive dashboards and reports.
• Solid knowledge of data analysis methods, statistical concepts, and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience in data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure data quality.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to draw insights from complex datasets.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and presentation of findings.
• High attention to detail with a focus on producing accurate and dependable reports.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with SQL and programming languages such as Python or R is an added advantage.
