Data Analyst with Tibco Spotfire skills

EPAM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for data analysis, visualization and reporting to support business decision-making. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights using Spotfire and other analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tibco Spotfire
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns and actionable insights
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
• Perform data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) from various sources
• Ensure data quality, integrity and consistency across reports and dashboards
• Automate recurring reports and processes to improve efficiency
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Stay updated with the latest Spotfire features and best practices

Requirements

• Min 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Tibco Spotfire for data visualization and analytics
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation and analysis
• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes and integrating multiple data sources
• Solid understanding of data visualization best practices and dashboard design principles
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Fluency in English
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics or a related field

Nice to have

• Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics and scripting within Spotfire
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and project management tools
