Who are we?

noon, the region's leading consumer commerce platform. On December 12th, 2017, Noon launched its consumer platform in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, expanding to Egypt in February 2019. The noon ecosystem of services now includes marketplaces for food delivery, quick-commerce, fintech, and fashion. Noon is a work in progress; we’re six years in, but only 5% done. Noon’s mission: every door, every day.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in SQL/BigQuery + any programming language, Python is preferred but not mandatory
• Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets knowledge
• Experience in the e-commerce industry is preferred but not mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

• Work within a cross-functional team that develops products as part of one of our businesses
• Design and build batch (and occasionally real-time) data pipelines and models for product, analytics, and reporting purposes
• Monitor data quality and integrity, designing and developing checks to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization
• Assist in developing dashboards and visualizations to expose data to users and stakeholders effectively
• Occasionally develop and optimize ML models to support product goals, as well as deploy and operate such models in production
• Occasionally support ad-hoc data requests and reporting for business stakeholders
• Core technologies: Python, SQL, Google Bigquery, Clickhouse
