This is an entry-level Data Analytics role. This position reports to the Director of Analytics. The Data Analytics Intern is responsible for leveraging the available supply chain and marketing data to create business insight. As part of our emerging analytics program, interns will learn how to work with complex data structures, write database queries using SQL, clean and blend raw data for analytical purposes, collect and analyze patterns in the data, and communicate business insights. This role is an opportunity for individuals to grow their knowledge base and gain experience with a wide variety of technologies, tools, and processes in a real-world setting and provide strategic, actionable information to our management team.
Essential Functions:
- Perform analysis and present findings for key analytics projects
- Solving business problems by applying data science and analytical techniques
- Manage and work with large, real-world data sets
- Collaborate with key technical and business stakeholders
- Learn about the marketing and supply chain industries
- Assist other interns and related analytics roles with assigned tasks
- Assist the Director of Analytics with assigned tasks
Education/Certifications:

Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, or related discipline.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, modeling techniques, and data visualizations
- Ability to use analysis and predictive models to solve a problem
- Proficiency in programming languages SQL and/or R
- Proficiency in data visualization and reporting using Power BI and/or Tableau
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic environment
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Detail orientated
